Game Reccomendation: Albion

Delve into an entirely new world with endless possibilities. Albion online is a PC and mobile game that I can't help but come back to.

Albion Online is a sandbox MMORPG with tons to do, places to see, characters to be. Now the first thing about MMORPGs is the role playing, most common is the mage, tank, fighter, ranger, and support. Albion however, boasts a "You are what you wear" system so changing roles and classes is as easy as: <unequip> <equip>.

Now the equipment in this game is nothing but outstanding. The equipment slots are divided into weapons, armor, and others. However the armor and weapons are divided into 3 main branches that we will call: mage, fighter, and ranger.

Starting with mage, the magic staffs divided into curse, holy, ice, fire, and arcane, all with different varieties and playstyles. With items that focus on offense.

Next is the ranger who's weapons are diverse from daggers, to spears, to double bladed staffs, to nature staffs, and the brand new shapeshifter staffs. The armor here is balanced between defense and offense.

Lastly the fighter, even the weapons of this gives binus HP, nevermind the tanky armor.

There's also gathering equipment that is used to gather specific resources. Crested capes that give unique passives. And bags that allow you to carry more.

Enough about equipment, another selling point of albion ks the vast open world, and i mean VAST. Like... Countries and climates worth.

Don't fret, you don't have to explore the world on foot, Albion has mounts. Stuff that you can ride. I'm currently enjoying a skeleton horse, saving up for a divine owl. There are plenty of mounts to schoose from, giant bats, salamanders, rams, grizzly bears, moose, giant crows, ox, mammoths, jaguars, and many more.

Now, what do we do in this vast world? Whatever you feel like. You could gather resources from, say, mining, cutting down trees, collecting cotton, hunting, I'm personally partial to fishing. You could craft weapons and armor, sell them. If you have land, you could farm or breed and raise animals. Sign up in a kingdom and go into war with other factions. Get into a guild and do various activities there. Go dungeon diving, solo or group. Recently there was also a tracking mechanic added where you can track rare beasts, I have yet to try it.

Overall, adventuring in the world of Albion is a journey in which you are free to choose what you do next at any point in the journey, highly recommended.
